These terms cover what you can expect from JobCraftsMan and what JobCraftsMan expects from you. By using the service you agree to them. They're written in plain language; the goal is mutual understanding, not legal armor.
1. Who JobCraftsMan is
JobCraftsMan is an AI job-search service operated by Gökhan Arlı, an independent developer. There is no parent company.
2. Your account
You need an account to use JobCraftsMan. To create one, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Provide an accurate email address you control.
- Choose a secure password and keep it confidential.
You're responsible for activity that happens through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact me.
3. Plans and credits
JobCraftsMan has two tiers: Free and Eager. Limits and prices are described on the pricing page. Usage is metered in credits — 1 credit covers one action (running an interview, generating a cover letter, or improving a CV).
Free plan
The Free plan is genuinely free. No credit card, no trial countdown. It includes a one-time grant of 3 starter credits and preset interviews only.
Eager plan
- Billed monthly or yearly in advance, in USD. Local taxes may apply depending on your country.
- Includes 25 credits per month, which carry over while your subscription is active.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings.
- When you cancel, you keep Eager access until the end of your current billing cycle. There are no refunds for partial cycles, and carried-over credits are forfeited on cancellation.
Prices and limits may change. If they do, the new prices apply only to new subscriptions and renewals — your existing subscription continues at the price you signed up for until your next renewal.
4. How you can use JobCraftsMan
You can:
- Use JobCraftsMan to prepare for and apply to jobs.
- Practice interviews, generate and refine cover letters, and build and export your CV.
- Export your data anytime.
You cannot:
- Use JobCraftsMan to violate any law or someone else's rights.
- Submit someone else's personal data as your own, or misrepresent your identity or qualifications to a third party.
- Try to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell or sublicense access (a single account is for one person).
- Scrape or bulk-extract generated content to build a competing product.
5. Your content
Your profile, CVs, cover letters, and interview answers belong to you. JobCraftsMan stores them so the service can work, but claims no ownership and does not use them to train AI models.
The questions, feedback, cover letters, and CV suggestions JobCraftsMan generates are produced by third-party AI (Anthropic's Claude). They're provided "as is" — generally helpful, but they can be wrong, generic, or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you send to an employer. If something looks off, please let me know.
6. Termination
You can delete your account anytime in Settings. When you do, your data is soft-deleted immediately and purged within 30 days.
I can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or fail payment after reasonable retries. Where possible I'll contact you first; for clear abuse (spam, fraud, attacks on the service), I'll act immediately.
7. Disclaimer
JobCraftsMan is provided "as is" and "as available." I work hard to make it useful, but I can't guarantee it will be error-free, secure, or available 100% of the time. AI-generated content can be wrong or unsuitable — JobCraftsMan is a coaching tool, not a guarantee of an interview, an offer, or a job, and nothing here is legal or career advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobCraftsMan disclaims all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobCraftsMan's total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
JobCraftsMan isn't liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost data, lost opportunities, or downstream consequences of AI-generated content.
9. Changes to these terms
If I change these terms materially, I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and email all active accounts. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, delete your account.
10. Governing law
JobCraftsMan serves a global audience. These terms and your use of the service are subject to the mandatory consumer-protection and data laws of your country of residence, which always take precedence where they apply. Nothing in these terms removes a statutory right you have where you live.
